金曜のみ、予約すればFanVisionが無料で借りれるというプロモーションの案内メールがシンガポールGP公式サイトから来たので、こちらから予約しておきました。カンガルーTVに似ていると思ったら、名称がFanVisionに変更になっただけでした。金曜に試用してみて気に入ったら土日に有償でレンタルしてくださいという旨のプロモーションだと思います。金曜のみの無料レンタルは、残念ながら日本グランプリでは実施しないようです。

8月15日追記：Fan Friday（金曜無料レンタル）に関する諸条件をFanVisionのサイトから下に抜粋しておきます。

Those participating in the promotion will be required to give a credit card safety deposit to ensure the return of the controller and must agree to FanVision’s standard controller rental terms and conditions. Participants’ credit card will also be charged for the standard weekend rental fee for the race in which Fan Friday was utilized on collection of the controller. However, if the controller is returned to the official FanVision kiosk within an hour after the end of the official race schedule on the Friday race day of the relevant Formula 1 event, the weekend rental fee will be refunded to their card. If the controller is returned after that time, the full weekend rental fee will be owed and no refund will be processed. A valid Visa, American Express or MasterCard credit card must be presented on collection.

FanVisionを借りる時にクレジットカードで保証金として週末標準レンタル料金（オンラインで予約する場合は€ 55.00）を一旦、支払う必要があるようです。金曜の公式レーススケジュール終了後一時間以内に返却すれば、週末標準レンタル料金は返金されるとのこと。所定の時間内に返却しなかったら保証金として支払ったレンタル料金は返金されないので注意が必要です。
